MEET THE ALL NEW iPhone 8, 8+ & X
THE NEW
IPHONE X packs
more new stuff into any device since the original iPhone. It's the most
complete redesign of the product ever and even offers a glimpse at what the
iphone might become when the world no longer wants smartphones. Of course,
you probably won't buy one. Even if you can afford the super high price,
getting your hands on an iphone X in the next few months will be like hunting
for the holy grail. Except in this case, the fancy one is the right answer.
At an event in Cupertino that doubled
as a grand opening of its new spaceship of a campus, Apple launched
three new iPhones. Yes, THREE. The
iPhone 8 and 8 Plus upgrade the existing models without completely changing
them. (More on those in a second.) The third model, the iPhone X, is another thing entirely, we’ll talk
about that but first lets dive to specs.

iPhone 8+, 8 and X

Highlights from the New iPhone 8, 8+ and X
·
All-glass
design:
Apple has introduced major design overhaul for the iPhone 8.
Instead of the aluminium casing used in the iPhone 7 , Apple
has moved to an all-glass enclosure.
This isn't the first time Apple has used glass in its
iPhones. The iPhone 4 and 4s had glass front and back panels, with a stainless
steel band sandwiched between the two.
However, these phones were plagued by durability issues, with
many customers claiming their phones cracked too easily when dropped .
This ultra-strong glass could spell the end for smashed
smartphone screens. The iPhone 8 and 8
Plus are made from "the most durable glass ever in a smartphone"
according to Apple, and are both water and dust resistant.
They are available in three colours - space gray, silver
and gold - and the aluminium edges have been colour-matched to each device.

·
'True
Tone' display:
The iPhone 8 and 8 Plus feature the same size displays as
their precessors. The iPhone 8 has a 4.7-inch screen while the larger iPhone 8
Plus packs a 5.5-inch display.
Both are Retina HD displays and also feature Apple's True Tone
technology - a first for the an iPhone. True Tone, first introduced
with the 9.7-inch iPad Pro, automatically adjusts the intensity of white
light to suit the lighting conditions in the room.
Apple also claims that its Retina HD display offers the
best colour accuracy in the industry.

·
Home
button:
While Apple has dropped the home button from the iPhone X,
it has stuck with the virtual home buttons from last year for the iPhone 8 and
8 Plus.
This means you can still use TouchID to unlock the phones,
and to verify your identity with Apple Pay.

·
Camera:
The rear cameras on the iPhone 8 and 8 Plus are fairly
similar to those on the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus. The iPhone 8 has an improved
12-megapixel camera with a larger and faster sensor, enabling faster autofocus
in low light, along with what Apple claims is the highest video quality yet in
a smartphone, with 4K recording. Yes you saw that rite 4k
Meanwhile, iPhone 8 Plus features dual 12-megapixel
cameras, and includes a new Portrait Lighting mode, designed to make portrait
shots stand out from the background.
This works by using the dual cameras to recognise the
scene, create a depth map and separate the subject from the background. Machine
learning is then used to add lighting over contours of the face in real time.

Processor:
The iPhone 8 and 8 Plus both feature the new A11 Bionic
chip which feature six cores and is notably faster than the older A10 processor
which powered last year's iPhone 7 and 7 Plus.

Wireless
charging:
The new glass design means that the iPhone 8 and 8 Plus
can both be charged wirelessly, using third-party charging pads from the likes
of Belkin and Mophie.
The company also gave a sneak preview of the AirPower
charging mat, which is due to land in 2018 and can charge an iPhone, Apple
Watch and AirPods at the same time.

·
Water-resistant:
Apple's iPhone 7 is water-resistant to a depth
of one metre for up to 30 minutes - a rating known as IP67, which is the same
as the Apple Watch .
The firm has chosen to go with the same water resistance
on the new iPhone 8 and 8 Plus.
IP67 means it will survive a dip in the sink or down the
loo, and it won't break if you pour a drink over it, but you probably don't
want to take it swimming.

New
gold colour:
While Apple's new iPhone was rumoured to be available in a
striking copper colour known as "blush gold", the Cupertino brand
instead unveiled a new version of "gold", which has a slight pink
tint.
Apple confirmed that both the iPhone 8 and 8 Plus would be
available in silver, space grey and the new gold, ditching the pink-tinged
'rose gold' from the lineup.

Augmented
reality:
The dual cameras on iPhone 8 Plus are custom tuned for AR.
Each camera is individually calibrated, with new gyroscopes and accelerometers
for accurate motion tracking.
Apple's ARKit for iOS developers can take advantage of the
TrueDepth camera and the rear cameras to create games and apps that mix
graphics with a real-world view.

OUR REVIEW:
The difference between the iPhone7 and iPhone8 isnt all vivid but the iphone X is just divine. It doesn't even look like the normal iphone and with it amazing face id couple with the no home button and all-screen design. It is the definition of smartphones.
